Day 1Create a free Meridian account and submit your manuscript (.docx or PDF) with your book title, genre, target audience, a short author bio, and your preferred publishing type — digital, print, or both.
Editorial Review & Acceptance
Days 2–7Our editorial team reviews your manuscript for quality, originality, and market fit. You’ll receive a feedback report and a decision within 7 working days: full acceptance, conditional acceptance with revisions, or a decline with constructive feedback.
Editing & Proofreading
Days 7–14Accepted manuscripts go through professional copy editing and proofreading. You’ll receive a track-changes document to review and approve before the final clean manuscript moves to layout.
Book Cover Design
Days 10–17Our in-house designers create a cover tailored to your genre and audience. You’ll see two concepts and get one round of revisions, with print-ready and web-ready files delivered once approved.
Interior Layout & Typesetting
Days 14–21Your manuscript is professionally typeset — fonts, chapter headings, margins, page numbers, and a generated table of contents — producing a print-ready PDF and a digital ePub.
ISBN Registration & Metadata
Days 18–22Meridian facilitates your ISBN application through the National Library of Pakistan, prepares your book’s metadata and category listing, and generates a barcode for print editions.
Author Proof Review
Days 22–25You’ll receive a full digital proof — cover and interior together — for a final check. One round of minor corrections is included before you give formal sign-off.
Digital Publishing
Days 25–28Your book goes live on the Meridian platform with its own page: cover, description, author bio, pricing, and a direct JazzCash/EasyPaisa checkout link.
Physical Printing & Production
Days 28–40For print editions, we arrange production through trusted local vendors — your choice of paper weight, softcover or hardcover, and colour or black-and-white interiors — with a quality check before the full run.
